As part of our commitment to both student wellbeing and inclusivity, we want to ensure that all students can participate in physical education (PE) safely and comfortably. For students who wear the hijab, it’s important that the head covering used during PE is designed specifically for sports activities.
Why a sports hijab?

Safety: Regular hijabs may pose a risk during PE, as they can get caught on equipment or cause overheating. Sports hijabs are made from breathable, moisture-wicking materials and are designed to stay secure without pins or loose fabric.

Comfort & Performance: These hijabs are designed to keep students cool and allow a full range of motion, helping them engage fully in physical activity

Pale blue shirts and boys’ black school trousers are widely available at many retail outlets and supermarkets.
